M/V Aconcagua Valley (SJOA)

Built new at Wärtsilä Shipyard in Åbo, Finland as Hull number 1156. She was launched in April 1, 1968 and delivered in October 1, 1968. She was delivered with 2  Pielstick 16 PC 2V400 delivering 12.127 kW. She was transferred in 1981 to Sembawang Johnson Beta Ltd. in Singapore and renamed to Pisang. 1985 sold to Maritime Energy SA in Panama and the owner was  Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd., Athens and she was renamed to Frio Aegean. Sold for scrapping, she arrived at Alang Auto & General Engineering, Port Alang, India 20 September 1993 for dismantling. She weighed 7900 Dw.tons and had a speed at  21 knots. Aconcagua Valleys first commander was T.Johansson and chief engineer L.B.Dahl.
