Built at Nippon Kokan in Tsurumi as hull number T1010. She was launched in November 1, 1983 and delivered in Mars 1, 1984. 1985 sold to Nordstjernan AB and in charter for Johnson Line. She was equipped with one NKK - S.E.M.T. Pielstick 12PC4 -V570 delivering 18.000 hp  (13.248 kW) coupled to one gear and a four blade KaMeWa - propeller. She was on 34.680 tons d.w. In  January 10, 1993 sold to Basil Shipping SA, Liberia and renamed to Laser Pacific and in charter for Hamburg Süd. In   January 5, 1996 sold to Hamburg Süd and renamed to Cap Corrientes and registered in Liberia. In July 1998 brought Hamburg Süd the Brazilian Aliança´s container traffic and bulk traffic and in December 1, 1988 she was renamed to Aliança Mexico with the same owner Hamburg Süd. Aliança Mexico sailing between Caribbean - US Gulf - Central America and Mexico for Columbus Line. In October, 1999 renamed to Cap Domingo with the same owner Hamburg Süd. Bo Johnsons first commander was I. Axelsson and chief engineer B.Örnestig.
