Built at Götaverken, Gothenburg as new construction, hull number 558. She was delivered in November 1941. In 1949 sold to Rederi AB Ragne in Västervik for 7 million SEK and renamed to Sira. 1962 sold to Armatrice Italiana Barbagleata S.p.A in Palermo Italy and renamed to Americano, sold to Terrestre Marittima, La Spezia who begins the scrapping at  December 7, 1982 .Sinus was equipped with one 6-cylinder 2-stroke singe acting Olsson- engine delivering 5.200 i.h.p. She weighed  12620 Dw.tons and had a speed at 13 knots. Sinus first commander was J. H. Emelius and chief engineer N. B. A. Dahlquist.
